  25. uhh, 2.5" IDE Drives have 44 pins and 3.5" IDE Drives have 40 pins.

  27. The A1200 has a 44 pin connector, which is meant for 2.5" Drives...
  28. The red wire is the one that must be connected to pin 1 of the drive and pin 1
  29. of the Amiga IDE-connector:
